If you are here, you have already taken a brave step in the path toward entering into a therapeutic relationship.  It can be overwhelming to find the right therapist, and I encourage you to keep going until you find the right fit. In individual counseling, I meet you where you are and tailor my approach to you as a person, to your presenting issues, and to your goals.  Often clients begin to make changes or find shifts in their life when they feel heard and understood. I provide a welcoming and safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, and experiment with new ideas and ways of being. I take a holistic approach, and often offer experiential therapies such as expressive arts, writing, sandtray, and/or meditation. If you have a history of trauma or adversity, we can also integrate EMDR into your treatment. For more information about EMDR please visit my EMDR therapy page. I practice a strengths-based clinical perspective, cultural awareness, and affirmation of all genders, races, and identities on the LGBTQ spectrum.

Some of the issues I have experience working with individually are anxiety, stress management, depression, trauma, gender identity and sexuality, career and life transitions, parenting, and women’s issues.
